To the moderator who gave me a warning over the above comment....if you read it carefully you will see that I am being scarcastic and that I include myself in it in the "People who respond to them."

I do not deserve this warning...or was it because my list included right wing blowhards?

Grover, I alerted the staff to your post. It was their call on whether to act on it but the warn probably has something to do with insulting the thread authour by calling his thread "stupid". While you dont have to like every thread you cant go around insulting members like that.

Fow what it's worth I thought your post was funny until the last two lines. Also I dont think I can be called a right-winger either

I noticed you mentioned Adolf Hitler without mentioning Joeseph Stalin. Why? Stalin is responsible for far more deaths. Conservative estimate, 20,000,0000 people died at the hands of Stalin.

Zhenghyi,possibly. However,Hitler probably would have never came to power either if it hadn't been for the fact that Germans were starving in the streets and looking for a "hero." I mean, there's a lot of questions in history.

That's also why I asked that the persons be living. I don't want this to devolve into a historical analysis.

Zhenyghi is correct, if not for Lenin we would not of had Stalin.

Adolph Hitler is on there because he represents a Germany without any saving graces. If I pulled a similiar dragnet on Germany, as I did Soviet Russia, and say name Kaiser Wilhelm it would also kill off most of the gifts Germany gave pre-WW1 to the world of science, literature, the arts and philosophy. It would also probably have openned Europe up to domination from Russia, England or France to boot.

Interestingly you said you didnt want this to be historical. Why's that? It's no different speculating on whether the World would be better if dead people or living people would never have graced it's surface.

there's this guy who works in my building. I rode the elevator with him a couple of times. he creeped me out. he sort of dances around and has this sing song way of talking and he always talks to everyone in the elevator.

the world can do without him. I'm making the proper arrangements (moving out)

I said I don't want this to devolve into a historical analysis because:

1) I can; I thought of the thread.
2) If we hyper-analyize every historical figure we'd have a situation similar to what they say about opinions and a certain body part.
3) Anyone can feel free to post a "5 Five Historical Persons Should Never Have Been Born" thread, or something like that.
