A US government agency that has exposed corruption in Iraqi reconstruction projects will close in 2007.

Washington lawmakers have reacted with shock at the discovery that an obscure clause in a military spending bill will terminate the work of the auditor.

The Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction has embarrassed the US administration with its reports on corrupt practices.

This proves that money being made by private firms is being put before anything else in terms of importance.
How could any one support this ?
Dose Collins think that people were born yesterday ?

And who audits the Government that runs that Government Agency? Aren't there billions of dollars still unaccounted for that were earmarked for war expenses? What about the billions of dollars Rumsfeld admitted were unaccounted for, only DAYS before 9/11?

I'd like to see which lawmakers are "reacting with shock" over this.
