released for Playstation.

For consoles it was super mario brothers.

For PC.... well, thats a tough one.

I remember playing REALLY old PC games when I was a kid. Im talking about OLD dos games, lol.

My dad had some sort of game sampler which use to be the way they sold PC games.

Alf, Star Trek, and sub commander games are the ones I remember. Oh! and a helicopter one,
.

I would have to say one of tghe first modern PC games I ever played was doom.

I was a deprived child... didn't know about video games until the early 90s... my first game was Sonic The Hedgehog on Genesis. (Lame, I know...)

Since then I've played every Nintendo console (I own N64, GCN and Wii, both DS versions, the original GBA) I still got the Genesis with the 32X add-on and an XBOX and PS2 (My bro has his own PS2 and the XBOX 360).

I was a late starter to gaming... but I'll say I caught up quite nicely.

The first computer I ever had was a Vic-20, when I was about 4 years old. (it was used then...!) It hooked up to the TV instead of a monitor. It had no hard drive. It had two types of data disks: one kind looked a lot like nintendo cartridges, and the other was actually to use cassettes, the same kind that you can put into a walkman.

Anyway, my first two games on that were Space Invaders, and Chess. I've never found a space invaders game as good, either...

Duck hunt, sure its not that old, but have you ever had a lan party with only duck hunt? its pretty awesome, of course none of them could hook up and keep score, we did that on paper, those were the days.

Got you beat by years, PONG. Damn looking back, I don't know why we thought that was fun.

Ditto. Pong was the first for me. mid/late 1970s, i believe.

After that, we had an Atari, and an Intellivision (first games with voices).

I liked Space Invaders (addicting game) and Pitfall.

I still remember my emotional response the first time i got to the level that they were all invisible!!

I had no idea before hand, and in 3rd or 4th grade i didn't think it was all too fair, but i made it many more levels.

Annoying addictive game, i can still here the sounds of them darn things ...
