Two US reactors shut down

According to RSOE Three Mile Island had a reactor shut down, as well as Palisades in Michigan.

Palisades shut down at 04:17:21 and Three Mile Island at 04:57:55 UTC. What are the chances of two US reactors shutting down within an hour?

Didn't Three-Mile Island get shut down for good in 1993 or somewhere around there, after the cleanup?

As for the Two US reactors...I saw a short blurb in the news about it...described as a "readout glitch" the shutdown was short and no issues were found.

A third event occured at a US reactor, a fire at the Entergy plant in Arkansas.

So......like any machine, gadget, car, etc... regular maintainance is required.

btw, three mile island unit 2 was shutdown permanently, unit 1 still operates.
