Both ducks and loons can fly and swim; however, loons can dive deeper and stay under water longer because their bones are not hollow -- this is why they need a like 1/4 mile runway to be able to fly!

(Sorry if I use more than one sentence on this one.)

The Bombardier Jet Train could reach a top speed of 150 mph (240 clicks.) However, not a single unit was sold to any North American customer.


It has recently set a world record by running a sustained speed of 330 km/h (205 mph) showing its ability for real high-speed performances.
