That is my absolute favorite. I was just about to post it but wanted to make sure no one else had already mentioned it.

Therefore if any man turns to Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things become new.

How beautiful is that!

Another one of my favorites! In the movie The Passion, when Jesus was carrying the cross and Mary went to help Him, I broke down in tears when He said, 'Look, Mother! I make all things new!'

And we know know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to purpose...For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:28, 38-39

I just read this verse on another thread and had to seek out this thread to share it. Definitely one of my favorites and gives me goose bumps:

'Behold, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.'

It's such a comforting thought knowing He is always with us.

God bless

"For I came down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will of him whom has sent me"
Bread of Life 25 v 33 I think

God is Love

blessed are ye when men shall revile you persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you because of me, for your is the kingdom of heaven. matthew chapter 5 v 10 or 11.q

Sorry I need to study more again, so I might of miss quoted the bible.

Its not very inspirational but it certainly encourages thought:

Exodus 35:2
For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

This ones quite inspirational though:

Don't forget to be kind to strangers. For some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it.

Isaiah 40:27-31 (New International Version)

27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Israel,
"My way is hidden from the LORD;
my cause is disregarded by my God"?

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Ezekiel 25:17.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Just Joking

That was just for jokes.

My favourite bible quote is,

"All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye so to them; for this is the law and the prophets."

Matthew 7:1

Years ago I heard a gentleman, who described the Word of God by saying:

The one thing that separates the Word of God from any other book in the world, it is the only book which, when you are reading it, you come to discover, it is reading you .

This is one I love!

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ our Lord"

Now, how cool is that! Wow!!!

Good Thread

Peace to all,

One more of my favorites if I may.

Psalm 139:13-16

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well, My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

To have known God's heart the way King David did......This gives me chills. This one just blows my mind. I love it!

Peace to all,
