Games that I have previuosly played on my PC now wont load up through the dvd drive, loading films is ok but not the games. I put the disk in the drive it makes a funny noise but wont load up, nothing comes on screen to suggest any problems, any Idea's. Thanks.

Well how old are the games for one.
I would suggest that you get a normal disk drive and try with that, a DVD drive might be a little to powerful for older games, and depending on how old the game is you might not even be able to play it on a newer computer (unless you have already played these games on the computer you are using), but its my experiance that a normal disk drive should work.

Have you installed some game or other software with a copy protection system?

Some of those copy protection system are known to create some problems.

Thanks for the replies, the games are up to date, 1 of which is brand new, but it could be the copy protection system as suggested. Any ideas how I sort it.
