Anyone know the release date?

Anyone heard any recent news on this movie? I have been keeping an eye on it for 2 years or so and it still isnt out yet. I have searched google inside and out and can't find any recent info. The only thing I have found was dated back in Jan 2006 supposedly posted by Jon Gress himself. Here is what he wrote:

Actually the movie IS coming out this year and is in post-production right now!

Though this first of three (it's a trilogy) tries very hard not to stray from what
science we know about the Sumerians records of the Anunnaki (the world is
not too friendly or happy about a movie contradicting everything in modern
religion... even if it IS what that modern religion was based on) this first movie
is a modern day fiction (but is an accurate introduction into the "cast of characters"
described by the Sumerians, Akkadians, etc... as the ANUNNAKI). I took great
care in researching this movie (8 years of heavy research + 25 of casual study
on the topic). The next movie "Anunnaki II" will reveal the entire ancient history...
well... what we know of it.

are you saying that the movie ever coming out is a hoax? or that the Anunnaki thing is a hoax? Cause I think Sitchen is good for a laugh, but the movie, if its a real movie, sounds like it could be a fun sci/fi flick.

thats a name that Sitchin made up to confuse the issue with
in reality they were called the Anuna gods and were the old cthonic deities of mesopotamia as opposed to the lesser gods the Igigi who count among their number

so not only is it never coming out but they got the facts wrong as well

I may have missed it. But I didnt see anything proving the movie was a hoax.

All I seen was an online problem between a moderator and a poster.

The movie is slated to be finished end of 2008 and the score attached in jan-feb of 2009....Then off to Edinbourough film fest and Berlin Film Fest...This thing SMOKES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why so defensive over a project that has obviously gathered cobwebs? Please, for the benefit of the few dozen fans that have been waiting for years on your premier release, finish it and let them decide the worthiness of your creative efforts. If you were to place as much emphasis as you did on your dramatic rebuttal regarding my initial comments, which I believe were warranted and way over due, you could have finished the entire trilogy. There never was an Annunaki film coming out.
It was a hoax... probably getting on for 10 years now..




But yeah.... there is no movie sadly..
