I'm not too sure about bbq turkey I'll give that a 8/10 it might have promise.

BTW the tenderloin pic I posted was from Mug n Bun in Indy, but the best one I ever had was from Nicks Kitchen in Huntington IN. (Near Ft Wayne) the birthplace of the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich.

OK, the next pick is another classic sandwich The Philly Cheese Steak.

I'll take mine wit wizz

Fish hoggie...I have to give it a 3/10 depending what's on it?? If it has sweet relish on it then I'll give it an 8.5/10

One of the most perfect sandwiches to me is
Very grainy whole wheat bread
Mayo (best foods/hellmans)
Alfalfa sprouts
Tomato slices and a dash of salt

I'm sorry anything with sprouts gets a 3/10 from me. take the sprouts off it's a solid 8/10.

----------------------------

Some Nutella spread between any kind of bread sandwich.

Can't be beat! A good 9/10 for that!

----------------
Plain white bread
Sausages cut down the middle
----------------

I had one of those every day for months at my apprenticeship.

Bread and sausage, That's at least a 9. Make the sausage Italian, throw on some sauteed peppers and onions and a little marinara and it's a hard 10.

Keeping with the turkey theme, I've got a favorite based upon a sandwich I had at The Ordinary in Nashville. (That's Nashville, Indiana). They call it a "wild game sandwich" and supposedly includes pheasant. Dark meat turkey works more than fine.

Split a hoagie bun. Spread olive oil or butter on one half, lay dark meat of turkey on the other and cover with swiss or provolone cheese. Stick under the broiler "open face" until the top is toasty and the cheese melts. Dress as desired (lettuce tomato mayo) and serve with home made broccoli cheese soup. A winter favorite at my house.

7/10 just because I'm getting tired of turkey sandwich posts. ;P

Next pick

The Corned Beef sandwich

Mmm, i give that a 9/10 just on style alone.

Now for the alltime concoction,

------------------------------
Butter one side of two pieces of bread leaving the the butter on the outside
Add copious amounts of roast beef and swiss cheese
Apply a moderate amount of creamy horse radish (the kind without mustard)
then place into a mountain pie maker (see below) and heat(on an open flame or camp fire) until golden brown.

voila a great mountain pie.

-1000/10 with the horseradish, the stuff is horrible! 7/10 without!

------------------------
Two pieces of bread
Cheese in the middle
Toasted in a sandwich toaster
Maybe some brown sauce
-----------------------

Instant breakfast, I just had one and I think I may have another....................

5/10 sounds like it needs something else.

------------

How about a leftover meatloaf sandwich.

What exactly is meatloaf? We don't have it over here! But, considering Homer Simpson likes it, I'll give it an 8/10.

--------------------
Plain white bread
Sardines
Tartar sauce

Use WW bread, remove the onions, & tabasco and I'll give it a 10/10

How about a hot melted grilled cheese sandwich, with mayo ,slice tomatoes & a dash of salt? (you must put the mayo and tomato on after you grill)

Don't knock it until you've tried it...it's fabulous!!

Hmmm, that's a 10/10 for sure.

How about a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, instead of mayo, spread a little strawberry jam?

its to die for!!!! Seriously, my specialty. Give it a try!.

Two slices of white bread
spread jam on both slices
add ham and cheese
then grill with some butter on the outside. Yummmmm.

You alright there DG? Jam, ham and toasted? Alright, someone phone the loony bin!

I jest, I jest! It sounds kind of cool in a weird way I guess. I'll give it a 6/10 for creativity.

--------------------
In this order-

Slice of bread
Sliced chicken
mayo
cheese
Slice of bread
Ham
Cheese
Salad cream
Slice of bread.
-------------------

I give that one a 6/10, I'm not a real big fan of cream salad. Take the salad off and put some deep fried onions on it and now were talking.

You got to put the meat an cheese in the microwave for it to work.
-------
slice of wheat bread (toasted)
a deep layer of colby jack cheese
ham
mayonaisse(Hellmans works best)
another deep layer of mild cheddar cheese
bologna
slice of wheat bread(toasted)
-------

Add some sweet relish, and fry the bologna first & I'll give it a 10/10 Yum!

This is sort of a sandwich, but really a wrap.
1 flour tortilla
spread thin layer of cream cheese on entire tortilla
sprinkle w/garlic powder
throw a few craisins (dried cranberries)
thin sliced turkey
leaf lettuce
roll up and eat

Sometimes I put cranberry horseradish spread on it....YUM

Sounds like Thanksgiving wrapped up in a tortilla. Anice little textural difference with the craisins included. 8/10 without the horseradish/cranberry spread.

This diner near where I live makes an "all-day burger".

The most 'over the top' burger in Houston may be at Sam's Deli Diner. The All Day burger has two burger patties, two eggs, eight pieces of bacon, two kinds of cheese, a slice of ham, and two sausage patties.

That's all in one burger. It runs close to seven bucks. I've eaten one in my lifetime and it was outstanding.

Peace
