Israeli F16's attack German helicopter AGAIN. Beginning of a German-Israeli Conflict?

In the night of thursday to friday, israeli f16 jets attacked again the german marine at the lebanese coast and forced a german helicopter to land. some days before, 6 israeli fighter jets hassled the german vessel "Alster" that can track all aircrafts in Lebanese airspace. What's your opinion about these incidents?

Hamburg, oct. 29, (bna)--Several israeli fighter planes of type f-16 surrounded a german helicopter again along the lebanese shores in the second incident of its kind.
German sources said that the ministry of defense was surprised on this incident especially when israeli minister of defense amir peretz had affirmed to his german counterpart that israeli fighters will not come close to german helicopters taking part in the unifil forces. The incident occurred on friday night and the sources stated that several incidents have taken place ever since the german participation in the unifil forces. Hsq 29-oct-2006 10:31

Well, it is hardly surprizing is it? When you let children have the run of the place for so long, sooner or later they will think they are above the rules. I would say that Isreal pst that point some time ago, and it is only a matter of time before some other nation decides to take a stand against it. Either that, or it could simply be airforce yahoo's acting outside of orders. Which would be most probable?

Israel is one of the most unstable,schizophrenic country's on the face of the earth.They are trying to prevoke Germany to attack in self defence.If Germany did attack,Israel would say the big bad anti-sematic Germans have attacked us poor defenceless jew's yet again.

The Germans really need to pull out and find replacements. Knowing the Israelis, they will make this into something its not and turn it around on the Germans. Knowing past history , they should have never agreed to being in the middle of Israel-Anyone.
I hope they see this for what it is and cancel those subs they were supposed to deliver. The Israeli government are the last people we need floating around the world undetected.

Can we just be clear here, the helicopter wasn't 'attacked'.

The yehudis of course are clearly trying to let everyone know that they are in control over there, they are trying to intimidate everyone.

Equally clearly, the germans aren't going to get into a fight over this. They don't have the interest to send troops to invade israel, or even to be more active in lebanon.

So you are saying it didnt happen once before? Also please show me proof thru facts, not your own ideas, that Israel is what you claim it to be. Then I would love to debate you on those facts.

Israel would play their typical "sympathy card" IF Germany retaliated in any way or forced the issue further...however that's not what is happening.

Israel as one person put it already is a "spoiled child" acting out. Israel has some cool toys BTW and showing a bit of might and pestering the German's...is nothing more than posturing at the moment. It wouldn't matter who was present...Israel would antagonize them just the same...and they do.

Israel cannot be ONLY thought of in terms of it's predominant religion. But you can bet they will use the fact that it is often thought of as "Jewish" to get the world off their backs - it is to their advantage.

Personally I'm watching and waiting for Israel to let loose...I have no proof that it will happen aside from strong instinct and a "feeling"...it will and the "world" will have to quickly pretend it didn't see it coming.

When the middle east goes to hell...Israel will have the dirtiest hands of all the kids on the playground.
