New ATS GAME ON !

It doesn't matter how much you know mate it's the taking part that counts.
I myself know very little but I still got a couple of answers in the last game.
You'd be surprised at the buzz you get when you input the correct answer especially if it's one thats had us stumped for a while.

Sooooo this is what happens when ya fall asleep at the wheel.
I think I will need some of that coffee Myself.
I dont know if My brain can slow down enough to wait for Wednesday.

Guess I better get as many of My friends in on this so the party can be enlarged a bit more.

Ran a search on 'tags' using the search feature on the top of the page. One of the first hits was a page that showed the whole list of tags that`ve been used on the different threads on this site- waaaay too many to go through individually, so I started looking in them for stuff that would make sense within the context of what I was looking for... 'game' didn`t work, so I tried 'new game', zip, then 'the new game'- and it was right there staring me in the face. Heh.

OK, Im new at this...

I went to the site that was linked and discovered that it is composed of 4 Jpegs and 1 PNG image...

I don't know if that is helpful or not, but I'll post them here..

I adjusted the Brightness/Contrast to be able to read what was on them as well as we can..

I notice that the non us resident members get shafted on the merchandise prizes again. I think that sucks big time although it wont stop me from trying to win the grand prizes though (like that's gonna happen )

Welcome aboard.

I think the game page is only darkened until the game officially starts, on Nov. 1, and will probably come into view (lighten) on Game day.

I found if you Right click the page and save image, you can lighten the image as a whole in your preferred viewer.
(actually, now that I think about it, I think I just did a screen capture, then lightened it)

But don't be discouraged, that's the kind of out of the box sleuthing, you will need in this game.

All info is good info. Even if it doesn't pan out, it may spark an idea in another player.

The words biggest-ever continue to stick out at me.

Winning this game is going to be no easy task.

So what does the eye want?

Well thats our job to find out.

I think the key is whether you have the 'legs'.

If you can manage to keep up, you usually get swept along in the wake of the those who have 'more grey matter than heeeuuumaaahhnns should be allowed to have'.

Seriously tho, if you make an effort to contribute, others will help catch you up , if need be.

Although, if you pop in once a week without reading the thread, and say , "ok, I'm here. Catch me up, doods." you may not be so lucky.

It's a fine balance, between keeping up and becoming addicted, tho.

But I don't know how much time I will be able to devote to it though.

I may just be one of the previously mentioned members who may be able to pop in only once a week.

But we will have to see how things go in real life over here first.

Naw, you were in the thick of it in the first half, a were valued contributor, IIRC, so when you popped in later, you'd already paid yer dues, IMO.

So I'd say you be in the previous category, mate.

We all get behind at some point, in fact I thought I'd have to drop out for the second half, but the 'fellowship.html' came up against one the famous 3 day brain twisters and allowed me to catch up and get back in the game.

Of course that gave me the luxury of having some time to read the thread and catch up.
