I've noticed that frequently in the past . Also seems you only get one tag/thread/member, since the tag box is missing after tagging a thread, in my experience, lately.

I'm skeptical this is game related.

I've also noticed there is no entry in TinWiki , for tags, FWIW.

I thought it might be a ghost... The tag that is. So I c&p'd all over the place and there is a tag at the "tagged with" spot.

The tag is a single . dot.
so I did a search on the . dot and this is what I came up with.

The game started unsuspectingly (I think) this morn as a post on BTS
It is a simple "game" called "When I see the above person's avatar I think of..."

I hope I am wrong as I was hoping to get deep into something weird. Remember I am the New Recruit here.

But I seriously doubt the game would start in BTS.

the post that got us started said simply. "use the tags"
well at the top of this thread where it says "tagged with: "
there dosent seem to be a tag. BUT there is it is a single . (dot)
so I did a search here on the site for the dot as a tag. it seems to
be quite popular.

the second entry there was posted this morning as a "GAME"
as a matter of fact several persons who have posted on this thread already played that game there. Anyhow like I said I am NEW but sometimes it takes a fresh mind to "git'er done" and I like the KISS theroy myself.

Ahh, ok, I'm following you , now.

Although I still think the 'avatar' game is strictly a BTS game, the

Tag search page is probably not a bad place to look for clues.

Type in keywords like game, clues, single posts, etc.....

BTW, I see Chissler is playing both games , maybe he could confirm my, assumption?

I've only played one game (the last one), and I don't recall any clues in BTS.

The thread titled "romans eaten by dinosaurs' is tagged with game, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. Is that tag odd?

Ok. Im a lil lost here as this is the first time playing any game on ATS. I have to find the game.. right?? So, the game would be posted on a hidden thread that can only be found through the tag system? Or is it a certain post in a random thread or what?? Can someone guide me in the right direction to whats going on? lol.

Just another sidebar.

It's normal to play the game as an ATS team, throwing out thoughts, suspitions, questions, etc., in posts to the group.

IOW, thinking out loud, as it were.

one players 'probably nothing' clue , can lead another player to the next answer, and thus keep the game flowing. so don't be shy.

If structure of the game follows the last , there will be Benchmarks , where an intermediate prize is awarded, and some tend to hold their knowledge to themselves, until that prize is won.(usually considered bad form, but is understandable in certain instances, I guess?)

Believe me, we'll need all the help we can scrape up , if I know the Amigos and staff.

The clue to locate the game is on ATS.

There will never be off-site clues.

Thank you info account for that refreshing post I was off-base and now I am back on track. I have looked at every tag on the huge tag pages and I am very tired BUT I will never retreat.
