As a veteran of the Microsoft Train Simulator, I know what IK is going through right now. I had many a frustrating time with numerous add-ons for it. Now, if Microsoft will come out with another Train Simulator program, I got a few add-ons to the program itself. Maybe they will actually do this too.

Put a dispatcher function on it if you don't want to drive the train, so you can sit back and literally dispatch a train's movement over a line. Make it to where you can play it online for free with others. Have a voice function where you must use a microphone, whether it be an earpiece or a desktop microphone, so that you can talk to other people that are online with you.

Most importantly.

Make it to where you actually have to read the signals off and give the location to the dispatcher.

But that is just my idea.

gimme, it took em 17yrs to do that for Flight sim with the new version that just came out in Oct and look how popular that program is. I doubt very seriously they will do it for Train sim too. Dont get me wrong i like messin with train sim every now and then, but with the 100's of thousands playin flight sim and virtual airlines, I just dont foresee it happenin. My suggestion, create a virtual train lines like the virtual airlines, get a Teamspeak or Ventrilo server, and set the stuff up yourself. speaking of teamspeak, ive got an idea for the chat refugee thread.

Sorry for sidetrackin off topic, and now resuming your regularly scheduled programming for this thread.

I think of a big montana locomotive barrelin down the tracks in MS Train Sim....loololol

S1LV, your avatar reminds me of the Columbus Zoo up in Ohio because of the tigers.

As for the big locomotive thing. Didn't you mean to say you can picture a big locomotive going up to the Summit of the Alleghenies?

When I look at 12m8keall2c's avatar I get a sense of inspiration. Of all the avatars on this site, I find myself staring in amazement. The graphic itself is remarkable and the message is just as impressive.

So what do I think?

I think he did a damn good job selecting and creating this one.
