- Well in fairness Maxx it seems only right that I point out (and own up) to you that much of this was sparked by my putting this originally in the WOT threads of ATS.

I believed it perfectly plausible
(cos I know Sacha Baron Cohen from what he has done in the UK, I have seen him many times 'sucker' plenty of senior political and establishment figures here.....I've if you've ever seen his 'Ali G in the USA' HBO show you'll have seen it happening in the USA too).

I also believed the Whitehouse statements as perfectly plausible (and it wasn't just me, it rang true for several Americans here).

Now, parody or not, I think that does say something very sharp, accurate and poignant about the current US administration.....

......which is a genuine sign of excellent satire at work.
