i came across this interesting article about the so-called suicide of david kelly and how the meeting between kelly and david broucher (whose recounting of the conversation he had with kelly who supposedly uttered the killer line "i will probably be found dead in the woods" days before he was found dead in the woods), must have been a complete fabrication.

kelly's daughter found some diaries in the house after kelly's death and the inquiry proving that this meeting could not have happened when broucher claimed it did but did in fact happen one year earlier. the problem with the meeting being one year earlier however is that all the things that were supposedly discussed at the kelly/broucher meeting had not happened at that point in time and therefore everything that broucher claimed at the inquiry must have been a lie.

anyone know what the penalty for lying at an inquiry is? as the witnesses are not under oath (unlike an inquest), do they get away with it?
