Black Bar of Doom: 3 New Victims!

Join me in congratulating our members Regenmacher & GradyPhilpott on there recent Black Bar's of Doom.



Seems like every week we are coming across more and more of these Bars.

This is attained by breaking the post bar. You can do this by reaching 110 Applauses. Not an easy task.

Indeed, I suppose it was inevitable that this would happen.

It is quite the accomplishment on any level, but considering the amount of posts you have Regenmacher, it is much more impressive.

Thanks to all. I noticed it myself early this morning, some six hours after the fact.

Actually it was mrwupy who at 0133Z did the final deed.

My thanks to all mods, and FSMEs who felt that my work was good enough for an applause.

Reganmacher's accomplishment is indeed impressive given his small number of posts, but when one considers how much hot water I'm in around here, I was lucky to last long enough for this to happen.

Who woulda thunk it? A broken post bar is a badge of honor. Maybe a Purple Heart would be appropriate.

Chissler, did you just happen across these broken bars, or what? Is there a way to see how many applauses a member has?

I was wondering the same thing. I know that you can right click on the bar to see the properties of the bar, which reveals the color range and the count range, but do you spend time checking these things out?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Thanks jsobecky - and yeah, the darker the red color, the more applauses.

...I actually got my black bar a while ago, and complained about losing my nice dark rich red bar. That's how I found out about what it means. Then I asked if I would ever get my colors back.
