I was just on the throne staring into the nothingness that is the tile on my bathroom floor when I started to think about who matters the most in my life. I guess it was because I had just finished watching "Violent Earth: Asteroids" on the History Channel. So I started thinking.... if I could save 4 people, who would it be?

Say someone said that they would put you up on a space station or something while a 3 kilometer wide asteroid was speeding towards Earth. They inform you that space is limited to only 4 people that you know. Who would you bring? Why?

I would bring my son, my girl, my cousin and his son.
My son is obvious as well as my girl.
My cousin because he keeps me laughing and is probably the only person who doesn't judge what I do and understands my life.
His son because I know he would not leave without him not to mention that I am his god father.

god...thats deep....I would probally save the world's most qualified doctor (so the people i did save didn't die of something preventable), my guy (because i love him), my mom (to keep me sane and down to earth), and my pastor (because he has saved my life countless times, and i would owe him the favor, and i would need a connection with god at the end of the world)

...wow...that was really hard, but not for the reason that there are so many people i would save, because there's not, i had a hard time thinking of 4 people i love enough to save...and i allmost assume that if i had to make a decision like that, i would rather die with the bulk of the population

Not a difficlt choice for me.

-My best and closest friend, and subsequently the person I love.
-My two closest friends after the above.
-Michio Kaku.

The first three should be obvious as to why.

Michio Kaku, because he's one of the greatest scientific minds
on the planet, Japanese, a theoretical physicist and open
minded with science.

I wouldn't save myself or anyone else, does that make me a bad person????

Oh wait a minute, I would give Bush my ticket and whoever he wants to save just so he can bring you all down. Why should anyone be saved when you cant save everyone????

my father, my aunt and two of my friends.

it's not that hard, as I don't have many close people in my life.

what a hard question though. what if you have a really big family and actually love them all?

Now I what if the people you knew and cared about knew that you had the power to save them? How would you explain to some of them that they would not be joining you? Imagine telling your mother that you would be leaving her on the planet to die with everyone else. What about that best friend that you've known since grammer school?
I think this would drive a person to suicide soon after escape. I couldn't fathom having to have that conversation. :bnghd:

Could do that quite easily, and not feel bad at all.

Not sure what grammar school is, though I suppose it's the same
as elementary school.

But since there are only three people I actually care about,
I'd have no problem.

I don't think it would alot of people, yes they'd be sad, but people
do have a tendency to get over things, or atleast live with things
quite easily.

I know, when it comes down to it, I could live with only being able
to save one.

I'm still going with letting earth just die, and erase humanity from the book.

As Rick James would say,"You are cold... blooded". I guess it all depends on the attachments you have.
