bookmarks

i mistakenly deleted my firefox bookmarks. is there any way to retreive them?

It's possible that they may be in the trash bin, but I wouldn't hold my breath for long. If not there, then I have no idea how you would find them.

what actually happened was that i was using my laptop and noticed that the battery was loose. so i removed it to put it back in. but i was being too much of a klutz to notice the adapter cord, and when i moved to pick up the battery, the cord came out also. so i lost everything. all of my plugins and bookmarks are gone. i tried a system restore, but that did nothing.
*sigh* i really likes those bookmarks. so convienent

Yes it should be possible go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\RANDOM_NAME.default\

You should find directory called bookmarkbackups -- that's where automatic backups are stored.

Or at least bookmarks.bak which should be possible to use too..
