To Whom It May Concern
I regret to inform you that i am handing in my resignation as from November 15th, i have enjoyed my time working in Foo Hong Buddhist Kindergarten teaching the lovely children was an experience but i feel that as i have never taught in a kindergarten before it is personally too much pressure for me although the experience was much needed i would like to thank you for giving me the chance.

Too much detail. No criticism of you in saying that.

10th November 2003

(Name specific person who is your supervisor)

Please accept this letter as my notification of resignation from my position at Foo Hong Buddhist Kindergarten with effect from 15th November.

I have enjoyed my time working at the Kindergarten, the experience has been a valuable development for me and I trust the children under my tutelage will have had benefit from my time here.

Thank you kindly for the opportunity to teach at this level.

Yours sincerely

drunk (or real name, whichever is better).

Drunk... although this may not sound like a good idea to you you should tough it out and give them a full 2 week, 14 day notice... Not only will it make you look better, but it will help you when you need a reference in the future.

Good luck, drunk.

I just noticed something here about your notice period... if you are required to work through it, I agree that this is an important part of your commitment if you can stick it out.

Hope it works out well.

If you like teaching in general & are good at it, maybe you ought to look into other opportunities where you can apply this talent instead of wasting it working in a bar.
