I am merely drawing a distinction between what Alien Agenda is advocating, and what others who have spent most of their lives meditating advocate.
Monks who have experienced the full spectrum meditative states have never advocated, as
Alien Agenda does, that alien contact should be the aim of meditation. This exclusion of aliens from the meditation teachings of monks is very
telling, because even through centuries of instructing their novices in meditation, there have never been, as far as I know, any Monasteries that
encouraged such contact. In fact, I do think that there are admonishments against being distracted by any beings that may appear. Aren't such
encounters considered to be obstructions on the way to "liberation"?
Lobsang Rampa taught a divergent brand of Buddhism didn't he? Wouldn't his teachings be considered somewhat heretical among Buddhists?
