We brought Jaia home yesterday and let's just say I got about 3.5 hours sleep last night. Everything is going very well and everyone is adjusting and settling in.

Here are some pictures!

Creeping Jesus, I can't help but wonder what you wrote that you had to edit out!
What terrible thing could you say about a person getting a new puppy?

Anyway, Jaia is getting along great. Last night was much smoother than the first night. He slept a lot more and howled a lot less. The extra time I used to have has evaporated for the time being. But it will be worth it.

At 8 weeks old, he's already having no accidents inside and knows his name. He comes running when we call him. Just incredibly smart! I'm blown away by his intelligence!

Oh, yeah, and I'm in love!

reminds me of my black german shepard that I used to have. He was a little puppy with huge paws.....

He grew into them (the paws) and ended up being about 120 pounds.

The inevitable video...

Jaia and Mia's first play session together. (Don't mind the heavy breathing in the background - Husband was lifting weights across the room. )

What an adorable little ball of fur!

I want a puppy too.

I love the way he pounced on Mia's head. Mia was so good with the new baby, too. Getting down into the play pose and being gentle with Jaia

Jaia sure does seem smart and Mia's gonna be a good teacher

Are you sure that puppy is only 8 weeks old

If so, he's gonna get pretty big, no?

He's 8 weeks old tomorrow, in fact! Yes, he's going to be big. I loved watching them play. Mia is going to love having him around because she LOVES to play and Cara isn't so much into it. Now Mia finally has the playmate she's always wanted. The two of them have been playing ball. Too cute! Another video!

Duzey... I know where you can get one!
