Forgot to register

I forgot to register, what should I do at the polls in two weeks, if I decide to vote?

I just want to know.

If no one responds that's okay. I'll stay home that day and just try for next year if I change my mind. Just to see how effective it is.

I think it depends on what state and county you are in (presuming you are in the US in the first place). You should still have time to register to vote.

In some states today is the last day to register to vote, or to change party affiliation.

The best thing to do would be to contact your local county registrar's or election office. Ask them if it is too late to register. You may be required to bring id and birth cert and go to the actual election office instead of a local polling place in order to vote. You might still be able to vote, if it's important enough to you, give them a call and find out. Good luck!
