  1. click here
  2. click on "Account Settings"
  3. Scroll down to "Avatar URL"
  4. enter the address where your avatar image can be found (i.e. whatever.com...)
  5. click "Submit"

Avatars are limited to 160 X 320 pixels and 75Kb in filesize.

If you need further assistance, let us know.

Hope this helps.

It seems you are trying to post/serve your avatar from from your PC, that won't work.

Revise my prior instructions to include uploading your avatar image file to the ATS servers.

Goto: Your "member center" and click on the "Member Upload Space".
Use the "Browse button" to locate the file on your PC.
Click "Upload".
Copy the full URL displayed, once uploaded.
Paste that into the "Avatar URL" portion of your account settings window.

Hope this helps.

As you seem to be having trouble, please read this. While it doesn't deal specifically with avatars, there is a bit in there that will help, and a lot of the stuff in there is very good to know. Post a reply if you think it helped.

You cannot link directly to an image stored on your machine. You must find somewhere on the Internet to host it first. ImageShack® is a website that will let you do just that.

Go to ImageShack via the link above and hit the button labeled "Browse...". Find the image you want to upload and double click it. The location of the image should appear in the text box to the left of the browse button. Then, you hit the button labeled "host it!". You will be taken to a screen full of different lines of text: "Hotlink for forums (1)", "Hotlink for forums (2)" etc. Copy the text from the box marked "Direct link to image", and paste it into the text box on this page labeled "Avatar URL:". Hit the button marked "Submit" at the bottom of that page.

You should now have a working avatar.
