How explicit can we be in our posts? Are children on this site?

Topic started on 5-10-2006 @ 10:05 PM by seentoomuch

Hi: I'm new here, love the site, and would like to post some of my experiences. Some are a bit racy. Are there children on this site? Can I send them to a moderator first for approval so that I don't get kicked off the site? I'm really new to this and am not sure of the parameters. Thanks in advance.

I predict a friendly moderator is going to link you to terms and conditions in about 3 1/2 minutes.

I think you pretty much behave like normal life. Respect and restraint are important.
No nudity or cussing seems to be the big ones.
Jibber-jabbering is completely accepted (or is it tolerated?).

How explicit can we be in our posts?

I suppose that anything can be posted as long as they fall into the realm of "good taste" and decency. To be frank, however, what is "tasteful" or decent for one might very well be considered as being offensive to others. It certainly can be a "fine line" that must be tread at times.

I would think that, as a simple rule of thumb, anything that you might personally question as being explicit should be questioned. As was suggested, if you have any real question as to whether a post is "appropriate", sending it to a mod might be a very good idea.

Thanks Mirror & TD, I've read through your link to terms and conditions and I'll write within those guidelines and tone down a few things. See you on the threads!

Racy and explicit?

What kind of stories do you have to share???

The way I understand the T&C you could say "vagina" or "breasts" but probably not any slang words for those.

Im still wondering what you're posts could possibly be about.

As for your question "are there any children on this site"

technically

IMHO age does not matter, just maturity

Are there children here? Yup, 11 is about the youngest I've seen. Look at it this way, post, not as if kids are reading it, post as if your Grandmother is reading.
