I have been looking all over the net for a picture of 'Jake the aligator boy'

Thats like something you would see in a side show at a carnival. The York Fair here in PA used to have wierd sideshow freakish things. I would like to know how too LOL

It's a mummy, and a hoax. It was done just the way you think it was; a mummy of a human glued to a stuffed alligator.

this is a taxidermy job. a few hundred years ago, there was a thriving cottage industry in creating this type of hoax for sale as curios. Another version is the "Jenny Haniver" which is basically the same thing, but made by carving up a fish and drying it in some weird pose. take it easy trigger.....

If this twisted looking anomoly was real, it would have made bigger headlines than it has, i mean it sounds to me like the museum its in isn't very choosy about what they toss in it for public viewing, another tourist attraction obviously.
