Dow Jones closes at HIGHEST since 2000

I just heard this on ABC news radio no less......

The US economy sucks so badly, the DJ closed at its highest in over 6 years! Lets blame this on the Bush administration, huh liberals??????

or....I suppose you will somehow credit this to the Clinton Administration.....I heard that economically speaking, there is about a 4 year delay with what actions a particular administration has taken to change things in the economy............but....Oh YEAH! Bush has been in for longer than that!

I don't know why, except for the fact that October is traditionally a bad month for the NYSE (think "Black Monday" and the stock market crash), but hearing that the stock market is at a record high makes me nervous. "The higher you go the further you have to fall" is an old adage that popped into my head when I heard the news.
