And So It Begins

I've shared some of my own personal viewpoints in this ATSNN thread:

Breaking News! Another School Shooting. This Time In PA.

It may just be "coincidence", but having started observing the phenomenon well over a decade ago, I find myself suspicious of it and the way it is used to achieve political goals.

Then again, maybe it's nothing.

As an aside, I do ask that members be respectful of the rights of ATSers to candidly express their opinions, and refrain from finger-pointing or commentary directed at other members.

I'm sure there will be no shortage of sanctimony as the election season gears up.

Looks like were seeing more and more of these shootings in the news. I think a lot of it comes from people who have at one time or another thought about commiting such acts who finaly do act after seeing others do it on the news. Monkey see monkey do.

I'm a university student myself I've heard and read in the news about shots being fired yesterday over at our main campus. No one was hurt and they have interogated a suspect in the matter. This whole thing is currently being investigated.

It also seems to me like tempers all arround me have been very short lately. The other night I lost my temper over something stupid and a fight almost broke out, this is not my typical behavior, I never fight. The same night one of the guys who lives just above me here in the dorms lost his temper and threw a chair that embeded itself to the wall by its legs, this is a guy I usualy know for being the responsible one.

Anyone else notice people having shorter tempers arround them lately? Its probably just a coincidence but it got me thinking that if its going on elsewhere it could have someting to do with the recent senseless violence we hear about in the news lately. Just a theory I'm throwing out here.

Of course it could all just be the media puting more focus on violence than they usualy do.

Ranger,

I guess during the "last days" we are supposed to see more and more of people against people, and brother against brother. You are absolutely correct.
I have noticed myself tempers are flying high in most settings.
This cant be denied.

But the media is not putting more focus on school shootings, imo, this is way too important and sick and out of the norm, and when it comes to children's lives being unsafe, they have to report this.
They should have the schools under lockdown during normal hours and no one should be allowed access into the schools at all. I know this is extreme, but these are children!!

i have noticed 2 things in my state. University of Utah (UofU) wants to give students the right to carry arms on campus (this could be a good and a bad thing) Next thing is..Well did everyone hear about the kid that killed his mom here and stuff her in a freezer, then tried to go for canada and got caught in Montana? well he lived in the same area as me, In my area(Bountiful, West Bountiful, Woods Cross and Centerville area small metro...no sky scrapers its on the other side of a small mt..next to SaltLakeCity)we have 3 highschools that are a couple of blocks from each other WX Viewmont and Bountiful High. I went to Bountiful, this kid and alot of my friends went to Viewmont. My bestfriend was telling me that the SWAT team asked some of the Advanced Drama kids to act as dying kids on a day(sunday) that the swat team could do a training. She played a role as a dying student saying help me as the swat team passed her by, they couldnt help her, they had to find the subject. (this could be a bad thing) another thing she had also said the cops had told them that the kid that killed his mom was talking to another student online claiming death threats they didnt know who the other kid was, only his screenname. so now theres many many police walking around the school at all hours of the day and escorting certain students that were named to and from class(they also dont tell you if ur named) Could all this be training for future events? Conspiracy related or non conspiracy related?

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I thought it was just me. One of the things I'm known for by my friends is my calm attitude and never using a curse word, but just yesterday I've been having a short temper and cursed a bit, with no explanation. I think it's in the water.

I was honestly just thinking this about an hour ago. For me it's been all this past week. I've been in the worst mood I can remember in a long time. This is horrible if we are all subject to some sort of natural or unnatural occurance.

I will say its odd that there are so many shootings anymore, used to be very rare if not unheard of if you look at history close enough. Yes the govt. could be sponsoring these shootings so they can get gun control, but I want you to think about this number wise:

SCENARIO: USA and gun control (fictional)
50 year period
year 1: 0 shootings, 100% of population owns guns and govt. wants to become a total tyranny or in short a George Orwell 1984 with 0 human rights and 100% police state. Govt. knows it cant do this or else the population will turn on them and overwhelm them with firepower. So it enacts the top, top, top, top, top, top, top, top secret School Shoot program so that school shootings will be "created" to gain support for gun control.

Year 2: 1 school shooting, whole nation in uproar over it, govt. puts in more police state laws and people comply.
Gun ownership: 98%

Year 10: seven school shootings, more police state laws, people accept them.
Gun ownership: 90%

Year 20: thirteen school shootings, more police state laws, poeple accept them.
Gun ownership: 78%

Year 30: thirty school shootings, people in uproar, want stricter control on games, etc. Govt. enacts several police state laws, people accept them, police train swat teams to shoot on anyone with a gun and kill them, take no prisoners.
Gun ownership: 45%

Year 40: seventy school shootings, people going crazy, surveylance all over the place, surveylance in schools, police state laws enacted by a rate of 100 a year, govt. trains police, military, SWAT, and all govt. organizations to fight in civilian settings and kill americans if ordered to do so.
Gun ownership: 12%

Year 50: govt. suspends ALL rights and ALL laws they do not want and put the nation under martial law permanently, congress, senate, house, etc. all removed or shot.
State militias try and fight back but are stomped out, too few have guns, and the police and army are now being used in combination to kill anyone who questions the govt. People voice out but are shot on sight, people in permanent state of fear and 1984 has begun.

Thats an idea for you, if they get enough gun control (they can NEVER get 100% unless they simply stop selling them and stop them from being imported) they can do whatever they want because there will be so few people with weapons to oppose such actions that they can act with near impunity.

This confirms it, it's one of the worst days in my life. Everything happening to me today has been ill fortune. I guess it's all in our mind, but I can't rule out wearing a tin hat too

You serious? 7 kids are dead because the US cant get by without everyone being allowed to own guns and you spout this BS! If madmen cant get hold of a gun then they wont shoot up children. #ing cowards!

Uhm...yes I am serious. That's why I made the post and said what I said. Madmen will forever be able to get ahold of guns no matter what country they happen to live in. Even if all existing guns plus all ammunitions were destroyed and manufacturing was halted people would just improvise devices. It's done all the time in American prisons. You would have to completely erase guns from all of history but even that wouldn't work. What if the people were carrying around swords/knives and were stabbing people rather then shooting them. Seven kids would still be dead. Your point is moot.

I still maintain this is merely a distraction from bigger things and has nothing to do with gun control or problems with society. Sorry.

I think most of these events are being caused by covert activity. Brainwashing is the most logical answer. I looked at HAARP today and sure enough, a huge spike at around midnight UTM.

How do you viw the HAARP signal, and can I see what it was on another date? Something crazy happened to my family on Sept. 24th close to midnight. I sure would like to see it then.

Also about that picture Pieman put up that has a school shaped like a gun. I found that on google earth and was kind of taken back. Whe I saw the picture you posted I thought it must be a hoax. When you see it on google earth it seems pretty creepy, I mean holy crap the think has a nozzle and everything. Crazy, I sure would like to know the story behind it.

I didnt read all of the threads so if somone already said this sorry.

The public schoool system has beeen under attack now for so long as they are now saying that it doesnt work. Sadly is was meant to fail. More and more people because of increasing events like these are moving their kids to private schoools.
The idea here is a conspiracy as the powers that be are conspiring to abolish public schools. By doing such poor families wont be able to send kids to private school and then since those kids will have nothing to do labor laws will be changed to allow them to work, probably not to allow sweat shop labor but close. THe reason, simply to control the status quo, simply to make it so that it is much harder for the average poor family to change the class status to middle class and maybe eventually upper class.
Also to whoever thought it was okay to use the term wigger, I find that term as offensive as the use of the word 'n-word'.

I skimmed just to add that they are probably orgastrating these shootings and spoon feeding it to the media is for the people to support gun control.

They want our guns so they can more easilly control us...

I would agree, something is going on here mentally. When I was in highschool it wasnt like it was today, but I see how it lead up to that..
Schools started becomming more of a prison. Freshman year, they brought in a few cops to walk the halls and hang out all day and watch for skippers.. Their was the 9 days out of 18 week policy of attendance. But also their was the Bully factor in school.. I got picked on once or twice when I lived in the bigger citys and went to bigger schools, but at that time you could have a good fight and no one died, and later on in the year you all become friends, and get in more trouble.. But no one was in the state of mind of slaughtering everyone!
All the honor has been taken away, fighting is not a good thing, but our tribe seems to teach our kids that at a young age, hence the bullies, and hence the fight to prove to them your not weak, and an easier target should be found..
So now you these the weak targets with only protection is to wear a trench coat and kill the bullies.. Sounds like a cry of help to me.. Prehaps we should all look deeper into whats really happening at schools, and why parents allow their kids to be the Big men on campus and pick on people with less.. happens all the time, and has been for a long time.. Only difference now is no one is fighting with their fists!
people are getting mentally weak..programed.

hmmmm lots of thoughts on this one...

i totally agree with lonegunman's post on the first page of this thread, there are a lot of cases where antidepressants are linked to such things. the problem is that somoneone takes them and doesnt realize they take up to 6 weeks to actually work, so when they dont work day 2 they feel nothing can help and freak out.

anyone who's read my posts (prior to the great "damos missing thread incident last month( knows im a STAUNCH supporter of the 2nd amendment. and while cant say that these incidents are orchestrated by the PTW, i 'could' envision a scenario where they are used as the impetus for stricter gun control or even an outright atempt to ban guns all together. now, while i cant say im in the "cold dead fingers" crowd, i do know that the day guns become outlawed ill become an outlaw. i wont willingly give up my guns, cant say ill shoot back, but someone may notice me with a sealed box and a shovel down by the river

couple questions i have;

are these types of incidents more common or just more widely reported in these days of the globe shrinking due to the information age? i mean, we can know the world news in minutes with the web and with more and more "national coverage" on TV, is it just easier to disseminate the info than it was 20 years ago?

secondly, is it really teh fault of the drug manufacturers, entertianment industry and gun manufacturers? or, is it mroe likely the result of failure in the educational system and the parents? now, before all you parents (i havnt been blessed with a child yet, still a newly wed) get yer drawers in a twist, im not saying one should tag their kids to know what they say think and do 24/7, but what about instilling a stronger sense of right and wrong? many parents try, but lets face it, with the rigors of trying to even feed the kids, is it possible we're losing our abilty to raise GOOD kids? take columbine, there are lawsuits against the makers of Luvox, and several game manufacturers. is it possible somewhere along the way the kids simply werent taught the difference between games/movies/tv and reality? with movies, tv shows, music and games that the best way to resolve your issues is to start shooting, is it really a suprise that kids without a stronger sense of right vs wrong are emulating what they see and hear?

i was raised in a house with several guns. they were simply part of the environment. however, my brother and i KNEW that you didnt mess with dads guns, guns werent toys, and violence was the last resort of the incompetant. yeah, i had it rough growing up. i was the "dork loser" in highschool. i was made fun of and picked on by the bigger kids. but i certainly didnt go shoot up the place, and i was allowed to take the rifles out varmit hunting alone when i was 14.

but i knew the difference between right and wrong.

i dunno. i dont have the answers, just my opinions, but in my mind i support LOGICAL gun laws (im very much in favor of the ones that prohibit you from owning a gun if you have a history of domestic violence for example) so i will never accept banning guns as a solution to anything. i think californias laws and the assualt rifle bans are rediculous pieces of 'warm fuzzy' legislation.

but thats just me.
