Search unreliable

Ib was trying to find a thread about Bush and his admin trying to pass a bill for being exempt from war crimes dating back to 911, so I searched "bush war crimes" and variations with no luck. Could someone please point me towards this thread? This isn't the first time that this has happened and it seems (to me) that the search option is fairly uneventfull or usless and therefore I tend to avoid it. Am I using it wrongly? I would think that it would help once in a while, but more often than not it is fruitless. Maybe I'm being dumb.

I haven't had much luck with the search feature either. It's not limited to ATS though. I have never been impressed with any forum's search feature.
