Presidents...history...conflicts

Topic started on 7-11-2003 @ 07:48 PM by vader

Does anyone want to take a look back into history and express thoughts about the previous wars or crises and how US administration handled them? Please no dem/rep wars here - just a leap back in time.

Sorry, Vadar, this is the mudpit. Such requests must be denied on the onset. As a matter of fact, let me begin.

How about the way that moronic Democrat Johnson thoroughly screwed the Vietnam Conflict? The moron made it a certainty that we would not be able to pursue the war long enough to win it.

Well to be more diplomatic,

this is not the history channel so one would have to mention a specific incident in history.

then of course there would have to be a conspiratoral take on this event in order for it to really qualify as material for this site.

then of course there is the ultimate caveat of all and that of the times, what happened in the past is difficult to measure against the present or even the future due to differing perspectives.

OK.

Forget it. Let's get back to the present.
