Imminent Terrorism in Saudi Arabia

Washington to halt all diplomatic missions (closing its embassy) in Saudi Arabia Saturday; warns terrorists close to striking. Credible information received that terrorists in Saudi Arabia have moved from planning to operational phase of attacks in the kingdom.

Are they just going to attack the U.S. embassy? And if so, is it scheduled for Saturday, 11/8/2003?

There is always imminent threat of terror in Saudi. folks, thats where the terrorists are funded and made!

Not that I care anymore. Its stupid to have an embassy in that country anyway. What legal and honest diplomatic relations could we possible have with them? NONE.

The only commonality is our corrupt greedy govornment and thiers scratching and stabbing each others backs for oil.

Think of the double cross

Think of our base there being closed

Think of the Intel Chatter of terror and the subsequent 'foiled' plotters during Ramadan

Think of how Mecca, where all good Muslims must pilgrim, is a spark point

Think of how any side in the conflict could benefit greatly from an incident there

I just haven't figured out which actor will make the move, because they all have peieces on the board.

The US, as well as the Western world, is held hostage by "oil".

We want to put a hefty dent in Terrorism? Saudi Arabia should have been the 'real' target...not Iraq.

saudi arabia cant be next on their list!! in my oppinion it's iran

PNAC Benefit: Mecca desecrated by the radical fundamentalists, or so it seems. Moderate & secular Muslims turn inward and root out the Fundies, where now, they sympathize. SA gets into a civil war & needs to be 'rescued', after, of course, the house of Saud , the compliant but demanding partner for all these ventures, is overthrown or a more PNAC compliant cousin is installed.

Fundies: Mecca is desecrated by the infidel West, or so it seems. Moderate & secular Muslims turn outward, where no action or radicalism now, is replaced by a sleeper for something big or a soldier immediately to the cause.
