Here is the transcript of a speech made in the Senate by Sen Inhofe that addresses the political and media manipulation of the global warming bruhaha in a clear, logical, concise, and factual manner. He does not say there is no eveidence of global warming. No reasonably honest person can. What he does address is how the topic of global climate change is used as a political and media sales tool.

Please read, or at least skim the text. It may bring those of us at the far extremes of this issue close to the center so we can discuss, and determine the real threat, and what if anything can be done.

Please, lets not co-opt this thread into a Big Govt, Big business, Exxon bashing fest.

Thanks

a key paragraph:

French President Jacques Chirac provided the key clue as to why so many in the international community still revere the Kyoto Protocol, who in 2000 said Kyoto represents “the first component of an authentic global governance.

bad ideas die hard, and the really bad ideas keep coming back.

these people do not reveal their goals, they are playing with a concealed deck of cards. globalisation, aka. world government is a strong incentive for surprisingly many people and they are more than willing to distort, lie and selectively ignore on purpose.

the trend is obvious, as i said a few minutes ago: the lowest common denominator of AGW appears to be a totalitarian agenda.
