Bittorrent assistance required please

I am relatively new to the whole bittorrent thing but am doing quite nicely.

My question is regarding seeding and how it works once I have a completed download. Do I have to keep the file on my list and are these the only files I can seed ? I mean can I share other files I have on my HD or from the downloads folder ?

Seeding means that you are uploading what ever you share to other 'peers'.Once you have finished with downloading what ever it is your getting,you become a 'seed',and other peers are getting stuff from you.

In order for you to share other torrents (files you wish to share with others) you have to create a torrent,find a tracker,upload the torrent output file to the tracker then share your file.

It depends on what client you are using on how to go about this (I.E Bitcomet,Azureus ect).
