It seems that the Ministry Of Defence according to The Guardian were actively thinking of ways to omit data from the requested UFO activity document through the Freedom of Information Act a few years ago. We all know that the recently released document was inconclusive with regards to UFO'S etc but this statement struck a chord with me, if they can say this what else are they/were they trying to omit?

"It is undesirable that even a hint of this should become public and we are currently consulting the [Air Historical Branch] on ways of expurgating the official records against the time when they qualify for disclosure [at the Public Records Office]."
