What happened as a result of the letter?

I've heard of the letter supposedly written by Diana predicting her own death, has there been an investigation? Is it her own handwriting and what are the royals saying about all this?

Who would investigate? Certainly not the British government.

I think there are some books written about it. Supposedly she was assassinated by British intelligence to keep her from marrying a Muslim. It�s bad enough that the mother of the heir to the throne is divorced, but that would have been too much.

Your right thats like asking the fox to guard the chicken house, you would think there must be some sort of system set up to investigate such things though, I always figured that the father of the future bridegroom was right when it declared that it was an assassination instead of an accident.

As far as i know..the letter was written by Diana in her own hand writing,
The french police were aware of this letter but do not see it as evidence when they were investigating.
