Scientists working at a British laboratory have achieved one of the most controversial breakthroughs ever made in the field of stem cell science by taking cells from dead embryos and turning them into living tissue.

While this is certainly good news for people suffering from Alzheimer's and some other diseases, am i the only one who feels this is a little frankensteinish?

It be great for alzheimer's....

....Or just dead people in general

It'd be great to be revived at a future date when they have beat all disease and people can live forever as young adults.

Luckily we have scientists who aren't too worried about some things being a little "Frankensteinish". If it wasn't for crazy films and the media, we wouldn't find things like this that strange. If we stopped research or action in areas like this, we could potentially be missing out on something that could save lives.

Always carry some sort of bladed or bludgeoning weapon.

Remember, the runners will break down fast, leaving the slower moving walkers/crawlers.

When they come for your brains, proceed to the top floor of your dwelling and tear down the stairs (they can't climb very well).
