Does anyone know how i can set up my computer or tell soemoen else how to set up there computer where i can see there files like on a network, but online. LIke if they gave me permission i could access there c: drive??

Its possible to do that by allowing the NetBIOS port (139 i believe) to remain open, and for the person you wish to share files with to have an account on the computer. However, you don't want to do this, as its a big security risk. Your much better off setting up a private FTP for moving files around.

Head over to Cnet and search for "Ftp Server" and pick a relatively well rated one to download. Once youve got it downloaded and installed, start learning how to configure it, make sure to turn off stuff like anonymous browsing, and learn to use any forms of access control to limit who can access the server.
