Whilst on Holiday in Turkey this year I was sitting out on the balcony of our apartment taking some rather poor photos of a rather uninspiring landscape. Upon reviewing the pictures I noticed an object in frame which I had not seen when taking the picture.

Now admittedly this could be anything but I personally steer away from it being dust on lense or the such like as this is one of a series of photos and there was no interference of the lense.

The object in question is just above the middle of the moutain.

Let me know your thoughts (if any)

Oh and I`m not 100% sureI have even uploaded this successful so please forgive me if there is nothing to view immediately

Honestly it does look like a spec of dust, but it could also be a bird or insect etc....considering it looks to be so far away and yet so blurry iam thinking its somthing on the lens

It looks like it can be a jet of some sort but judging by the distance in relation to the size of the mountain it would be one huge jet!

Dont really know what it is...perhaps you can call it...A UFO!

If it is a speck of dust then why do none of the same set of pictures carry the same?

Gotta agree with faint on this one and call bug... Do you have a master copy with full resolution.

Kodak dx6490 has got 4megapixels I believe

The compression software has put a layer of ''jelly'' around the hillside/sky join which isn,t on the object whick makes me think it is very close

Mabye you wiped the lens or it fell of , considering the size (if it was dirt) it looks like it could fall off easy ..soo....yeah dust..

dont look so much as dust to me as it being a real small bug, like a small ant or somthing. if it was dust dont you think with all of the dust in the air it would have piced up more then one, i have taken pics withy dust...and when its dusty out..oh trust me youll see the dust it aint in one little spot where it shows one little thingy of dust..its all over or in a certain spot..im gonna go with bug , only because judging on size compared to the moutain and houses...thats a huge UFO...and im sure they would keep that well hidden..not on the moutain (probably a tourist attraction) where eveyone could see..
Good luck.
