WHAT!?!? I saw a hummingbird!

Edit- Okay I think it's a hummingbird hawk-moth - Click. It's still rare though and commonly mistaken it seems - Click. Another sign of global warming I guess.

Ahuh, i saw quite a few of these when i went on holiday to the south of France. I thought they were hummingbirds too until i looked it up, and found one dead (with thier wings closed they look just like ordinary moths)

It said in the book I looked in that they were migrant visitors to South England...which seems to suggest they fly over the channel. Pretty impressive for such a small creature
