It is looking like Musharraf has been pulled aside and told to change his story.

WASHINGTON - With Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf standing at his side, President Bush President said Friday he was “taken aback” by Musharraf's allegation that Washington threatened to bomb Pakistan back to the Stone Age if it did not cooperate in the fight against terrorism after the Sept. 11 attacks.

he would never issue a threat he couldn't deliver on. We are perfectly capable of delivering on any threat issued. All doublespeak. These guys lie through their teeth.

For his part, Musharraf declined to comment and cited a contract agreement with a publisher on an upcoming book. However, he told CBS the Stone Age warning "was a very rude remark."

Everyone's denying he said it except himself, though Armatage is saying he used strong language talking to them...Just not that strong. But then, it's very typical of many to immediately believe the foriegn leader over anything anyone domestic says.
