Well that was good,
Thanks for answering my question about America's political future.

And Springer you mix a good whiskey with pop

my 70 year old mother drinks whiskey with a threat, she says it's only to break the bouquet (sp if thats the right word) to let the essence rise. man oh man.
Good podcast though, I enjoy listening to the pair of you, I haven't missed one yet ( yes I know I have no life, I'm coming out of the closet I admit I one of the 3 listeners)

I hope Dave Rabbit's broadcast in Baghdad is going to be recorded and later podcast here on ATS. You know anything about that, Springer?

Yes I do and yes it is.

Dave will be uploading the "First Termer Iraq" show to ATS and his Podomatic site first.

Hmmm..... Not even a mention of the elusive ATS TV Show.

Can we bump that question to the Sat. nite 'cast?

Did I miss something since March,

or has this topic become a sore subject, for some reason ??

I haven't seen it mentioned for quite some time, so I'm assuming it's not become a

tired and annoying question.

Any bones laying around the Amigos lair?

en.wikipedia.org...

An October surprise is American political jargon describing a stunning news event with the potential to influence the outcome of an election, particularly one for the presidency. It is so called because Election Day in the U.S. is the Tuesday after the first Monday in November, and events shortly before the election have greater potential to swing votes. Most of the time, the term is used to label actions of a sitting president, especially with regard to military or foreign policy matters, but it can also apply to news stories unfavorable to the incumbent administration. "Historically, news outlets avoid investigative pieces critical of candidates within days of an election to avoid appearing partisan." [1] Particularly since the 1980 election, the term has been pre-emptively used to discredit late-campaign news by one side or the other.
