I just take a minute to sit down and think about something that had been bothering me since February of my last school year. My U.S. 1 teacher informed the class that our very first president gave America some decent advice.

"Don't split up into political parties and do not, I repeat, do not ally with any countries."

What if we had followed that advice, even half of it... Where would we all be right now? Any opinions on the matter?

Well, without political parties, it would be difficult at best, impossible probably, to conduct an electoral process as defined in the Constitution, with a population of over 300 Million.

Perhaps back in his "day," that made good sense, now I seriously doubt it would function.

Also it is pure human nature to gravitate into groups. Group Dynamics have been studied for decades and we are all human animals after all.

As far as making allies of other countries. This is a World Economy. Wont work now... To put it simply.. LOL
