Ligers are not people

a female Lion and a male Tiger contribute growth-inhibiting genes to their descendats, while male Lion and female Tiger contribute growth-promoting ones.

Under normal circumstances, a pure-breed Lion/Tiger are limited in growth. However, a Liger only gets the growth-promoting genes without the growth-inhibiting ones, and therefore will continue to grow forever (theoretically). On the opposite side, a Tigon inherits growth-inhibiting genes from both its parents without any growth-promoting ones, i.e. they become much smaller than their parents and their distant “cousins.”

.

blogs.warwick.ac.uk...
human growth inhibitors are present in both male and female

really just because an animal does something it doesn't neccesarily follow that a human has that ability. Try regenerating a lost limb like a salamander or surviving by eating poisonous berries like a bird

I can't remember the name of the poster now, but whoever pointed out the flaw in my Liger argument - good call. I wasn't aware that was the case.

I'm hoping at this point that you realise that the word Annunaki was entirely invented by Zechariah Sitchen in 1974.
it does not appear in any genuine texts
the Sumerians called them the Anuna gods
which meant the Men of An (the sun god)
nothing whatsoever to do with anyone coming from heaven to earth besides which the Sumerian always stated that Heaven was a mountain in line with the beliefs of every ancient culture
Heaven has only been some place in outer space since the common era and the rise of Judao-Christianism

I doubt Annukai was invented by Sitchen alone, and I doubt that Anua means sun god, as An was a god of the heavens or meant the heavens themselves, and that ki is the sumerian suffix for "from".

Also the sumerian for man is "lu". For example, king is Lugal, which literally means "man" and "big or superior".

ku.li.gu.en silim.sha.za!

(tenner to anyone who translates that!)

Anunaki is a noun used to describe the Babylonian gods of the underworld
it didn't exist in Akkad or Sumer

Sitchin claims they are the gods of heaven when in fact the Gods of heaven were the IGIGI

the Sumerian equivalent of the Babylonian Annunkai were the Anuna

An was the Sumerian sun God, we translate that as Heaven but it really means Sky. The Sumerian concept of heaven was a mountaintop. they had no concept for outer space at all. There is no plural for heaven in Sumerian. It could never be claimed to be heavens.

Lu does not mean man, it is non gender specific and so means person. NA means "man"
the usage of Ki in babylonian Annunaki does not mean "from". Gu means from. Ki in this usage means "Mesopotamia" as this form of Ki is always mentioned in reference to a location in that country.

Anu Na Ki therefore does not mean "those who from heaven to earth came" it means "Men/followers of the Sun God An in Mesopotamia". this is a clear reference to the fact that the Annunaki being cthonic (underworld) deities shouldn't be in mesopotamia at all.

As such they are about the furthest thing you can find in Mesopotamian mythology from Heaven as they are from that other place wooooooh

IGIGI is derived from two words
IGI - eye
GI - Essence of

the essence of the eye
those who watch

Interesting, I was using the www.sumerian.org lexicon; it does not seem to give the same information as the source you use. Where do you know this from?

Also, I applaud your dedication.

John Hallorhan is not a sumerian linguist. I think he's an engineer.
Don't get me wrong he does a great job but because he's not a professional a lot of his sources are outdated as a result.

EPSD (Electronic Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary) is a online resource built by Sumerologists at Pennsylvania university. Pennsylvania university is one of two centres for Sumerian studies in the westrn world (the other is at Oxford). It is as a result constantly updated (every couple of months) and so has the very best information on earth for sumerian linguistics.
Sitchin apparently doesn't use it

Welcome to the website of the Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary Project (PSD). The PSD is preparing an exhaustive dictionary of the Sumerian language which aims to be useful to non-specialists as well as Sumerologists. In addition, we are developing tools and datasets for working with the Sumerian language and its text-corpora. All materials will be made freely available on this website.

thankyou for your commendation as to my dedication but wheres my tenner

also you should know that you can't just string together words and expect them to make sense. Sumerian like every other language on earth uses grammar.

Thanks for the link, that'll be one of the first things I do after work!

You know, I thought I was actually correct with the verb strings and not actually just stringing words together. However, as it appears my source is eager but misguided, I have to re-learn what I thought I knew!

Thanks again for the information, I try never to be too proud to be corrected.

If it helps, when I said "tenner" i actually meant "ten blank sheets of paper".

Also, if you have any good links for a lesson on how sumerian grammar works (as I'm obviously mistaken!) they would go down a treat, cheers!

The bottom line is there were giants, they all died because they were evil cannibals. They were descendents of what ever came down here from the "heavens". Nuff said..... I don't care about brow ridges or their occular circumference and depth...... different species have different anatomy and no one ever said they were human. They said they were anakim, nephalim, giants..... a different genus altogether.

To the closed minded out there....... Open your mind!!!!

It doesn't matter that s8nt is a christian website. I have found the information at other sources. Mostly in old books not on the net.
