Man Claims Bad Toupee Caused Heart Attack; Sues

Talk about a bad hair day. Paul Lewis was so dissatisfied with his toupee that he stopped payment on the $1200 check to the wig shop who sold it to him. When the wig shop filed a claim in small claims court, Lewis claims he had a heart attack.

A man who claims he had a heart attack during a dispute over an ill-fitting hairpiece that didn't match his hair color is suing the wig shop.

Paul Lewis claims he suffered a heart attack after refusing to pay for the hairpiece that was not only the wrong size but also the wrong color. He is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.

Lewis filed a counter lawsuit in Superior Court after Paula's Wig Boutique of Orange filed a small claims action seeking $1,200 in payment for the hairpiece.

Good Grief! Even with todays mentality of sue for everything and don't worry about asking questions later, this one is just too much. The worker at the wig shop should counter sue for distress caused by assisting this customer, pain and suffering and anything else. I would think this customer is just looking for easy money.
