Just because someone fits the description of someone who looks suspicious doens't mean they will do something wrong.
No...but it certainly does up the odds, now doesn't it? You have to look at this from the other point of view...a stranger doesn't know you from
Adam.. When someone looks at you, just as you do when you look at them...an initial first impression is formed, stereotypes assessed, and a quick
judgement call is made...whether consciously or not...(and whether it's wrong or not) If you don't want people to treat you like a certain
stereotype, you're not helping by purposefully falling into it.... Obviously, there is a reason you dress the way you do... Putting up with the
flak simply comes with the territory...it's pros vs. cons. Otherwise, once someone gets to know you, they'll be able to rectify their initial
assessment....
