Gold under New Orleans?

Saw something on a prophecies board i go to sometimes tonight that made me want to come here and ask.. anyone ever heard anything of there being "hidden gold" under New Orleans?

I havent heard about gold being under New Orleaans but I have heard about Extremely Large Oil Deposits down there. For example..

They don't think they found all the Laffitte brother's money...and they used to Call New Orleans home enough to fight a war for it.

That is real gold.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the geology would support any large deposits of gold there.
