Are you kidding?

Nintendo will be second?

Yeah, perhaps in a two console market. As much as I love Nintendo gaming, I know that PS3 will come out and hit the ground running.

Nintendo will enjoy happy amount of success, especially if this wii-mote is as easy as it looks. But by no means should it ever really approach the other two unless it really does attract a buttload of new gamers to the market.

And the stampede looks staged...or maybe somebody pulled the fire alarm...either way.

(waits for new zelda and pikmin...then I will be saited)

The Wii arrives in Europe on December 9 and will cost £179 or 249 euros, with games costing £34 to £39 or 49 to 59 euros. Rumor has it the P$3 games could be as much as £70 ( I still game on my PC so theres no way Im paying out that sort of money when the P$3 console is already to expensive and Im still buying PC games for £35 )
I'm looking forward to pre-ordering a wii!!! I havent had a console for a few years now and I'm getting a bit excited ( I cant beleive I just typed that lol ).

Wii tennis? Wii boxing? Thats exactly why the Wii isnt intended for gamers and Nintendo lovers. They're going to make 200 different games where you swing the remote. Everyone is going to have fun at first, but then they'll realize all of the games are the same.

PS3 games definately aren't going to cost more than 360 games and I'd be surprised if it went beyond the 50 mark. Wii games are probably going to cost the same as gamecube games due to it being a better version of the gamecube (according to game developers).

Akraites, didn't you read any of my post above, some people are so busy being fanboys that they dont have time to look with unbiased eyes??????? That is the offical cost of wii games as stated on gamespot today after the official lauch in London.
Because of the rising cost of developing P$3 games, it as been estimated that they could cost up to £70 and will definately cost more than 360 games.

Thing is do the 60 bucks for the 360 games isnt because of the increased cost to make them.

Its because microsoft is asking fora 10 dollar profit on each new game sold, because they actually are selling the xbox a bit cheaper then they should, so they can attract more buyers.

Ps3 will probably be 60 bucks too, but not because it costs more to make the games, but because right now they know peopleare willing to pay it

your right, just wario will have 200 games where you use the remote .

about the stampede.... your crazy if you think that was staged. read into it before you assume anything or make stuff up. ive seen several other videos about the stampedes. it was such a big deal at e3 nintendo created a comercial similiar to it.
youtube.com...

why wont any sony fanboys answer this question?

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT FOR GAMING? FUN OR GRAPHICS?

i know what your answer will be , but explain it please and then tell me why the ps3 is better then the 360 after your answer.

A Good Combo of Both obviously.

Yes I still play Shadowrun on Gens.

However if I could have it fully 3D rendered and the exact same game play style I'd hump myself.

But here is the REAL question, a lot of games will come out for all the consoles, do you want the one with the craptastic graphics, or the one that makes you eyes bleed?

What about GTA? on the Wii? HAH.

g'luck.

PS: My PSP WTFPWNZ the Nintendo DS, can you put movies on it? a 4gb HD? Listen to music? put pron on it if you wished? hollah

pps: How the heck can you see anything on the DS? That screen is so tiny, it mustve been designed for toddlers, and or noobz

Well my good sir, a game is either gold or total crap.

and like I said there shall be multiconsole games, so would you prefer the exact same game with worse graphic settings?

I mean think about it how PCs are not everyone has a gaming rig, so they can enjoy all the eye candy which enhances the game.

If a game is good, its even better with sweet ass graphics. durrrrrrrr.

ps: I hope you don't spank to your DS, as you couldn't see crap, but nice attempt to get at me
are you getting crows feet from having to squint at mario?

you cant have wii controlled games on the ps3 so they arent all multi console games.

will you answer the question, what is more important?

fun factor or graphics?

this arguement is pretty much moot anyways, the general public will decide this war with their pocketbooks.

i can see it now , 18 year old boys will be crying to momma because she wont fork out 600+ for a ps3.

your psp owns the ds lite. well the ds lite is owning the psp in japan .
digitalbattle.com...

10 : 1

very odd considering you cant even see the screen. oh wait the ds lite is actually more fun to play. unless your a complete sony fanboy of course.

Fun Factor obviously, but are you trying to say ps3 and xbox360 wont have games that are fun?

They could always get a job... or... buy a wii so they can go play with their wii

I mean really whats 600 bucks? My graphics card cost me 430 at the time of purchase.

oh and I doubt wii will have GTA.

GTA for Gamecube? seems to be nintendo sticks to games for younger crowds, more anime style looking games etc, with out all the excessive violence of course

i did not say the ps3 or xbox will lack funfactor. BILLIONS of people hate video games because the controllers have 20 buttons and the games are made for a certain HARDCORE gamer.

if you actually increase the funfactor and create games never before seen or imagined, u will grow the gaming market.

this is where nintendo will win.

are you saying the wii will have no funfactor? if you think that you are watching too much pron.

not everyone will want to spend 600 dollars on a system . why even bother getting a ps3 if your pc is high end.

peace, lysergic i dont care talkign to fanboys, but its possible to be realistic sometimes.

I'm sitting fence on that, that whole protection stuff makes me ticked i mean if I can't play my game on my friends system wtf.

However

feel free to call me a PC fanboi, cuz my computer PWNZ IT PWNZ

as for the porn remark.

I was disappointed with the wii :/

I begged my parents for a nintendo when it came out, a super nintendo, and saved up and bought a nintendo 64. I raised a sheep and sold it for the sole purpose of being able to buy a Gamecube.

The Wii controler is bizarre and awkward, and no more staying up late bundled up in a blanket in an awkward position with the controler clutched tightly to my chest. Nope, now I have to sit upright or even stand in order to play.

Not to mention a VERY minimal graphic update, and most of the games look like remakes of other games. Anyone see the new metroid game? It's basically Halo with a nintendo sticker slapped on the side.

I can understand the view of trying to get non-gamers interested, but the Wii alienated me completely.
And now that Square-Enix doesn't work for Sony anymore... that's half of the potential rpg's for the ps3 gone.

I gave up consoles after I bought the gamecube... haven't bought a console since and instead I've been working with computers.

Not regretting it one bit

To answer Elitegamer's question:
I prefer graphics actually. I honestly wouldn't mind playing with a simple 'old school' controller as long as the graphics were photo-realistic

How is having to use a steering wheel and the wiimote in gta cool when the game was specificallyl designed for the PS remote? I can't understand how using the wiimote for everything automatically makes that game fun. If anything, its annoying.

Wii's games are aimed specifically for people who don't have time to game and for nintendo fanboys. It isn't for gamers. The best games on the gamecube couldn't shine the best games on the ps2's shoes, and I doubt much will change this time around. The first year might be hard for Sony because there aren't many people who want to take a chance on the system of the future when they can get a newer gamecube with a gimmick remote, but once the ball starts rolling it'll steamroll right over the other consoles.

Billions of people dont hate video games.
The reason some people hate them...has nothing to do with the controller design, or how many buttons it has on it.
BTW, the 360 and the PS3 have 14 buttons total.
The Wii would be more confusing to the average joe.
While the main Wiimote has 9 buttons, it has a nun chuck attachment which has a couple more buttons, and on top of that it has a completely different controller as well, which has around 12-14 buttons.

So clearly your "to many confusing buttons" stuff, is utter crap.

I'm 18 and when I finally can get a job, I'm saving up for and buying my own PS3 and some other goodies for my computer.

$600 is not ridiculous, because the cheapest blu-ray player that i've seen is $800+. Also, the HD-DVD drive for the 360 is supposed to cost $200 is it not, I could be wrong, but that's what I've heard. So if you plan on getting a 360 that can watch movies in high definition then that's going to run you around $600 anyways.

Wii isn't going to be that great, while the controller is very innovative, I would choose sweet graphics over that thing any day. For a lot of people the Wii is going to be a good purchase, but in my opinion, the only serious gamers that are going to get one will already but getting/owning a 360 or PS3. Wii has nothing to offer me personally, I have a high def 27" LCD display that i can use for just about anything (It was a graduation present and cost around $700). I want to be able to take advantage of high def games and movies, that is what it's for, not a Wii.

I'm going to wait a bit and see what happens to Sony before i get a PS3 though, if they blow it from the start ( which i doubt they will) i prolly won't get any console, just upgrade my PC.

We will all see in time though, who will come out on top. So until then, let's just stop talking about consoles like we already own them.

Peace
