I dont know about you all but this movie looks like a real winner. Its directed by Martin Scorcese and looks to be along the lines of Goodfellas and Casino except following Irish mobs.

I cant wait to see this movie.

Anyone know anything else?

Just saw it. Its a remake of "Infernal Affairs" (internal affairs?) a chinese movie. Ill give you the plot lines of both: (from imdb.com)

Plot Outline: Two men from opposite sides of the law are undercover within the Boston State Police department and the Irish mafia, but violence and bloodshed boil when discoveries are made, and the moles are dispatched to find out their enemy's identities.

Plot Outline: A story between a mole in the police department and an undercover cop. Their objectives are the same: to find out who is the mole, and who is the cop.

Both are good movies. The new one, The Departed even re-makes some of the best scenes almost exactly as the original. But the ending is slightly different, oh yah and the bad guys arnt chinese in the Departed.. oh wait actually they do a deal with some chinese haha i just realised. Also, as a 'round-eye' all the undercover guys in the chinese version started to look, well.. very similar. Had to keep reminding myself which side they were on.

Go see it if you havent. NOW!

I heard this movie was pretty good and with the likes of Jack, Matt, and Leo starring I just can't wait to see this. Is it playing on IMax?

Definately one of the must see 'big' films of the year, along with Children of Men. It's great to see Scorsese tackle the crime genre again, not least because it's a breath of fresh air to see a movie so un-PC. The language and insults in this movie are hilarious, and every single actor in it is at the top of their game!

Of course as it's a Scorsese movie it looks beautiful.
