Homing pigeons?

Are you sure its not this?

Okay so recent developments have changed the picture drastically. It is really interesting that ATS has been down off and on for reconstuction... Pure coincidence I am sure... LOL But it has been giving me time to catch up on stuff...

So If its a pawn.... so be it! Even a pawn can take out a King... always loved chess. Besides I have an army with sharp pointy things to cover my back...

Okay down to business

January 1946
The picture above has very odd looking black lines in the lower right part of the crater, and the upper square shows black out as well. These black lines do not appear in other lower resolution images. Though the area is blacked out, there still appears the trace of a structure just within the crater. And behind the black lines you can see some bright object that has been obscured. This is a crop from Lick 001 11:00 position...

January 1946
The picture above shows the same area. On the full photo you can see the "cloud bank" that is covering the area. Though it does not cover Endymion, there is still "cloud" showing around the perimeter of the crater... and in the two boxes where the dark areas are in the other clipping, the "cloud" forms columns.

Endymion Crater has long been the focus of anomaly researchers and John Lear was pointing out this area earlier in the thread.

Dec 17th 2005
Below is a clip from a photo taken with a 10" Telescope by Mike's Astro Imaging in the UK. Pegasus has secured the rights to use that photo and it is copyrighted with all rights reserved!! As are all thes clips we have created from that image.

If you look at the image above there are several really interesting objects that stand out. On the bottom right area that is obscured by cloud in Lick 2 and black marks in Lick 1 you can clearly see the tower and the dish antenna. (See below for details). The upper left of the crater, which is also obscured in the lick photos shows three large round structures. There is another one in the crater just below the three. The coloring of the objects is a brownish tint in contrast to the bluish green tint of the surrounding rock.

To the center and above (behind) the crater you can see several interesting bridge and tower like structures. Most peculiar is the crater floor!! Look at the smooth featureless texture and note the two sides that you can see of the floor. The lines above show the part I am referring to.

Now then here is the kicker!!! The Lick Observatory photos we have are some of the best moon images around, taken with a 36" telescope. Yet Mike's 10" scope shows us this detail.

NOTE:
A call to the Director of My Palomar 200" telescope told us as far as he knew there are no pictures of the moon taken by any of their large scopes...

The IKONOS Satellite took one image, not great resolution, of the moon and they state on their website that they will not be imaging the moon...This is significant because of the resolution capability of the satellite. I have posted this before but here is a link for relevancy...

IKONOS Sample

Below is a clip of Endymion Crater taken by the Clementine Satellite...

Mar 1998
The image above is a clipping from the Clementine full color high res 64 meg mosaic image showing Endymion crater. Notice the texture of the interior of the crater and the total lack of walls or crater slopes. Zoom in on the edges of the texture and you will see what we mean. There is absolutely no sign of any of the objects shown in the 2005 Mike's Astro Imaging photo. The only thing showing anomaly on this image is the area we labeled walls.

John has been studying this image and though this crater is in the right position to be Endymion... the surrounding area does not match previous images of the area. We will explore this in detail later.

The clip is a from a full color 64 meg version of the picture on the front of the Clementine website...

Warning, the following make disturb your view of science. But rest assured it will be only a momentary shock, after which you will return to pretending nothing is amiss.

Aristarchus Crater has long been the source of much debate and speculation. There are mission logs of the Apollo 11 team discussing this area as they fly over it...

Today you will see it in all its glory...

The image above is taken from LO-001. As you can see the area is devoid of any gray pixels, leaving a totally white splotch. Below is the same area on LO-002. Again we see the totally white splotch. You will find this in all of the lesser quality full moon images on the web.

The image below is taken by a totally independent source in the UK...

The picture above is Aristarchus Crater clipped from an image taken by Mike's Astro Imagery in the UK. Pegasus has secured the rights to use this image and it is copyrighted all rights reserved! This image was taken with a 10" Telescope!! {If you wish details of the recording equipment used just u2u me...}

PS. John asked me to mention that he oriented Mikes photo so that we are looking from west to east. In the Clementine photo north is at the top.

Compare this image to the high res color image from the Clementine Satellite below. Here we have two separate sources showing what Aristarchus crater really looks like.

Merry Christmas from the Moon!!!

LOL I can here it now...

"There never were any high resolution color images from Clementine!!!!"

Well ummm no you would be wrong...

The above picture as you can see matches the black and white image on the Clementine website. You can see the blue gem very clearly even in this reduced version. The full image is 25 megabytes and there are two separate images one Nearside and one Farside that are 64 megabytes. What you are seeing is the whole moon front and back!!

There are also 2 gigabyte versions available... unfortunately they all show the same edited out parts.

The answer to your next question is NO!

Nice images, if real I am wondering if it could have been a "space diamond" or something similar, the moon has been hit by just about everything else.

Space diamonds have been found...

The newly discovered cosmic diamond is a chunk of crystallized carbon 50 light-years from the Earth in the constellation Centaurus. (A light-year is the distance light travels in a year, or about 6 trillion miles.) It is 2,500 miles across and weighs 5 million trillion trillion pounds, which translates to approximately 10 billion trillion trillion carats, or a one followed by 34 zeros.

"It's the mother of all diamonds!" says Metcalfe. "Some people refer to it as 'Lucy' in a tribute to the Beatles song 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.'"

The diamond star completely outclasses the largest diamond on Earth, the 530-carat Star of Africa which resides in the Crown Jewels of England. The Star of Africa was cut from the largest diamond ever found on Earth, a 3,100-carat gem.

The huge cosmic gem (technically known as BPM 37093) is actually a crystallized white dwarf. A white dwarf is the hot core of a star, left over after the star uses up its nuclear fuel and dies. It is made mostly of carbon and is coated by a thin layer of hydrogen and helium gases.
