Depends..

Pork, for ribs.
Beef for cuts, like steaks.
chicken for tossing on the grill..
Fish, I like most kinds, but don't eat it enough.

I had an Elk steak in a restaurant last week that was pretty awesome too!

If I only had one to choose though, it would be beef..

im not very crazy about chicken. But with all meat, it must be lean.

And pork ribs and better than beef ones.

Chicken and Fish for me!

Normally I would go with chicken. Huge fan of any form of chicken.

However, in my new hometown that I have just moved to they have a local fish & chips place that is amazing. I normally make a visit once every two weeks or so and get a big plate of fish. Its something I rarely eat, so its a welcomed plate when I do take it in.

So chicken gets my vote, but fish on those rare days when I have a craving.

Beef, Chicken, Pork....yes- in that order. I'm not much of a fish eater, I do like some though, Salmon is my favorite fish and we have plenty of that up where I live.

The guys at my house are hunters, so we usually have venison, sometimes elk, sometimes duck. As far as chickens are concerned... we raise our own cornish X, and raise our own pigs too. My freezer is packed with meat for winter already, and the guys haven't deer, or elk hunted yet. I guess I'll be giving stuff away this year if they bring home a deer or an elk.

I like being stocked up though...I never know when we might get snowed in?

I know beef is taboo to Hindus, but what is the status of pork? I hear that Hindu farmers don't raise pigs but wild boar is often hunted and eaten for a special feast.

Is that true WW?

I don't know the real reason behind not eating pork, I know many Hindus who don't eat it and many who do.

I'm from multi religion family, got hindus, muslims, christians, I guess we kind of adapted and took bits of all their cultural taboos?? I don't know. I was raised with the idea that if pork isn't good enough for Muslims then it ain't good enough for us either.

Beef we don't eat, obviously because of the cow being sacred in Hinduism, however I know many Hindus who eat beef but don't admit to it.

I've tried and had both beef and pork when I was younger, I just don't eat it now by choice, but I still season and cook the occassional steak or pork chop for my husband.

I would have to say chicken. I love chicken with everything.
But there is something about a juicy steak that just can't be beat.

I'm a vegetarian, though I do miss eating beef ribs from time to time.
