Divide and Conquer in Iraq: the memory hole at work

Rich its all been done before, after WW1 the people of the Middle East nations were promised the earth after helping us Brits kick the Turks all they way back home. What was the result of their labours, well they were sold out and the Middle East map was redrawn by the British who made sure that all the known oilfieds were in the area's we controlled. Nothing new then for the Middle East, thats how long its been going on, the industrial complex of Europe, naval forces etc. needed the oil and we still do. Who are we to let a few camel jockies get in our way I mean its not like the oil belongs to them dose it. And now some oil producing states have had the nerve to want to trade in Euro's and not dollar's I'm sure that cannot have anything to do with it either.
